How Do You Deal With Emotional Chaos?

Learn to Stop Emotional Chaos!

What is emotional chaos? It is the negative feelings that come up when we have to deal with uncomfortable situations. Or when we are always trying to live up to a certain standard and then feeling like we have to be something other than who we are. Its when we feel irritated or frustrated with the people around us. When there is a disconnection from our heart.

When we are in emotional chaos we feel tension in our bodies, a negative vibration. We can literally feel our bodies clinch up, our heart beat grows faster and our temperature rises. It’s an uncomfortable feeling that gives us a fight or flight reaction. We can actually feel our adrenaline rising. Ask yourself, what is creating emotional chaos in my life? If you can figure out what your triggers are before they come up you can begin to deal with them and find a solution before you get into trouble.

So what’s the solution? Try connecting to the child within you. Ask her what are her fears and anxieties?  Talk to your inner child and ask her questions about anger, jealousy, fear, procrastination, control, or insecurity. Then let her know that you are in charge now and you will protect her and that you love her just the way she is. And then whenever you have negative feelings towards someone or are in an uncomfortable situation, remember the conversation you had with your inner child. Remember that you are in control now and there is no need to feel emotional chaos.

We women need to get in control of our emotions because it affects the whole family. We need to realize our negative feelings are a gift and are telling us that something is not being honored inside ourselves. We need to start loving ourselves so that we can love others. Keep in mind that emotional chaos is a sign that something inside us is hurting.

So the next time you feel emotional chaos coming up, realize that your adult self has left the moment and the child inside of you has been left alone to deal with a difficult situation; alone and scared. Become the detective and ask your inner child why this is bringing up negative emotions? What happened to you that makes you unable to deal with the painful situation your in? If we can learn to connect to our inner child and heal the hurts of our past, then we will be able to connect to, not only the people in our lives that we love and care about, but also the people around us who are hurting the same way we are hurting.
